Red fishing boat in a harbor with clear blue sky

The LaMonica Fleet

At the heart of LaMonica are our hardworking crews and fleet. Each vessel in our five-boat fleet carries four crew members: the Captain, First Mate, and two Deck Hands. Over the course of each 36-48 hour shift in the Atlantic, our Captains and First Mates are in charge and run all operations from the wheelhouse: catching, monitoring, and evaluating the caught clam. The Deck Hands stay busy filing clam cages and sorting. Once they’ve filled up their clam cages, they head back into port where our LaMonica trucks are waiting to transport those fresh clams back to our facility.
